Walk Now for Autism Speaks Event in Rundle Park

On Sunday, September 8, Mike and his family participated in Edmonton’s Walk Now for Autism Speaks event in Rundle Park.  The event was a huge success and raised over $250,000.

Autism Speaks was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with autism.  Since then, Autism Speaks, along with Autism Speaks Canada, has grown into North America’s largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, and treatments of autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and
advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
