Yesterday, Mike was honoured to meet Isaiah Grewal, a 16-year old with autism. Despite being non-verbal, Isaiah has plenty to say. Isaiah recently wrote to Mike as part of his high school geography assignment and offered his opinion on Canada’s response to the global refugees crisis.
Isaiah is an inspiration for people to think beyond just the challenges associated with autism, to the incredible potential our society can realize if we can unlock the unique skills and abilities of people on the spectrum.
