This afternoon, Mike met in Ottawa with one of Edmonton’s great leaders, the City’s Fire Chief Ken Block. Ken currently serves as President of the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs, and has been recognized as Canadian Fire Chief of the Year in 2013 and International Fire Chief of the Year in 2015. Ken and Mike discussed, among many things, the need for proper and adequate mental health initiatives for firefighters and first responders.
