Thursday April 2, 2015 was World Autism Awareness Day, and hundreds of Canadians gathered to celebrate autism awareness and appreciation on Parliament Hill last Wednesday.
Mike, Hon. Candice Bergen, Minister of State for Social Development, NDP Member of Parliament Claude Gravelle, and Senator Jim Munson addressed the crowd at Autism on the Hill.
Mike also did his annual one-minute Statement in the House of Commons on life with his 19-year-old son Jaden, who has autism, and the impact Jaden has on his 15-year-old sister Jenae.
