In events across Canada each year, thousands of people plunge into ice cold water in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Canada. On Sunday at Lake Summerside, the plunge time temperature was -24 degrees Celsius!
This event is one of many hosted by the Law Enforcement Torch Run organization. Over the years, they have raised more than $1 Billion U.S. dollars in support of Special Olympics.
