Sharing this post today as a tribute to my friend and colleague, MP Mark Warawa, who passed away this morning. This was Mark's final statement in the House of Commons, last month. It is Mark as we all knew him - gentle, loving, funny and articulate.
I had the pleasure of serving with Mark on a couple of committees over the years (Industry and then, just this year, Environment). He had a reputation as one who served with passion, preparation, and genuine kindness.
Mark, thank you for your service and your friendship. You will be missed by all of us. ❤️ ... See MoreSee Less

Really looking forward to the unveiling of our Real Plan to Protect Our Environment, coming June 19th. A special shout-out to my good friend, Ed Fast, our Shadow Minister for Environment, for his passionate dedication to the issue. ... See MoreSee Less
I am looking forward to reading this plan. I hope all the build up that Mr. Sheer has been pushing online will be worth the wait.
Trying to figure out where the Government believe they first can play mother nature and second, bill the average Canadian for what the Government has created. First by basing our economy on oil and second not forcing the companies to pay for the pollutions issues we have now. Stop promising crap and deal with the real issues. The deficit, the fact you are all taxing us out of our homes while you all have agendas that in the long run mean some new tax. Forget the promises. What is your Agenda?
