Wow! A politician is actually committing to his election campaign. What a foreign concept to Liberals
Promising. Hopeful the wave continues west.
Good for them.Hope Alberta is next.
FORD A man of honor ! Alberta next !
Wow, that was fast!
What’s the preferred system he’s going to use to manage climate change? Nothing in the article indicated how he plans to continue to decrease carbon or help people in the long run.
It was fast and the right thing to do! Way to go, Doug Ford!
Bravo Doug Ford! Canadian politicians are not in any position to control emissions and there is no utility in trying. When you consider that crippling our economy would have a single digit percentage of the total (which is rising by the way) and other countries have little intention of cooperating, it's not just futile, it's dangerous. Cold kills people. Fuel poverty is a very real danger to Canadians.
The Carbon Tax scam certainly has some ... scammed. The big push on taxing for climate started toward the end of 2012. In the middle of 2012 the U.N. put out a document in which they proposed a need to raise $400 billion from first world countries, to help developing countries. Guess how they proposed to raise $250 Billion of this needed money. A Carbon Tax. .... The document is still on the U.N.'s own web site for all to read - here- www.un.org/en/development/desa/news/policy/wess2012.html
What are your thoughts on the matter Hon Mike Lake/ Blaine Calkins/ Scott Reid, MP/ Alex Nuttall MP? I am of the opinion that the carbon tax is a great big scam. Another tax many cannot afford to pay.
This rhetoric is sounding more robotic by the day, as Liberal attacks on critics become more vicious, their promises less credible, and their newspeak more detached from reality. The Liberal spin machine is a giant thresher, churning fields of fact into jumbles of mad-lib jargon.
