On October 6, Mike spoke at a Community for Brain Development meeting in Ottawa to share his experiences living with his son, Jaden, who has autism. He also discussed the importance of addressing the needs of children and families with neurodevelopmental disorders, and the role of the Federal Government in addressing these needs.
The Community for Brain Development is an alliance of Canadian institutions who share a vested interest in brain development. There are 18 organizations that make up the Community, including Autism Speaks Canada, and NeuroDevNet.
